Updated : Aug 5, 2025

WAR 2 is one of the most anticipated films of Indian Cinema. It marks the combination of gigantic stars like Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR coming together for the first time. Ayan Mukherji is directing the film with Yash Raj Films producing it, as part of their, YRF Spy Universe.

Hrithik Roshan and NTR have started social media promotions without any press interactions and this is not impressing Telugu audiences. While they have declared war with hashtags, now, Hrithik shared photos stating that NTR has put up hoardings opposite his house.

In the poster, it is written, "Ghungroo Toot Jayenge par Hum Yeh WAR jeeth nahi paaoge" (Ghungroo will break but you cannot win this WAR against me). Referring to the blockbuster WAR song - "Ghungroo Toot Gaye", this is the line written to intimidate Hrithik Roshan by NTR, as part of promotions.

While Hrithik looks unimpressed by it, even fans are not happy with these social media WAR promotions. They want to see them go around and talk about the film like Coolie team but YRF is preferring to go with social media strategy like they did for Pathaan and Tiger 3. Let's see how they will amp up the game, further.
